slow cooker beef joint

1. s-lathered the beef in either mustard, with onions and one glass wine, bay leaf dried mushrooms and that's it.
  • slow cook for 6 hours all from raw.
  • use the juices to make puy lentils, with sliced beef
or 2. slow cook the beef with onions and red peppers, and
  • use those juices to make puy lentils the lentils. simmer unsalted for 25 minutes or so in the slow cooker juices till absorbed. I prefer a nutty al dente texture, if you prefer a softer lentil, then pre-soak them for an hour, but no more, then drain.
